Do you ever get tired of looking at the orange DOT Matrix
or Alpha Numeric displays on your pinballs? Well there is hope!
Take a trip to your local art supply warehouse or a supply store
that carries colored acetate. You know the transparent plastic
sheeting. Take the backglass off and cut the sheet to a size
about 1/2 inch bigger than the display and attach it to the display
via scotch tape. On game with DOT Matrix displays, just cut the
acetate the same size as the display and slide it between the display and
the plastic speaker board. Be very careful not to bend the display
when you take it out. The only problem is that you can only use
colors that are in the RED palette like Yellow and Red. Red looks
really cool on my Addams Family and Indiana Jones pinball displays.
Also to achieve a darker color just put two pieces of acetate together.
