Living in South Africa our currency is weak and so rubber parts are
expensive items here. I had white silicone extruded to the same shaw
strength as natural rubber and join it with a clear tie strap and hide the
join where possible. The advantage is that they never break, or yellow,
plus deposits from the rubber don't muck up the machine. I do an entire
machine except single posts (I use genuine here) for about 1 dollar.
