For mid-1980s and later Williams games burnt connectors on power supplies
are always a problem. I am in the business of buying and selling
approx. 100 pinball games a year. I see this problem continually. We have
seen numerous types of repairs for this problem and many are just temporary.
What works best for our technicians is to completely remove the connector
between the power supply and G.I. and replace it with a light duty boat
trailer plug. It may sound a little strange, but this stops all of the heat
build up which is the original problem.
