Here's a good tip that I found works great on older EM games with metal side
rails. To clean them and get a really nice shiny finish, I used an old
'Brillo'(TM) pad (a soap-filled steel wool pan scourer.) As the pad is
old, the wool is not aggressive. Use it with some fine metal polish and the
result gives very nice, smooth and shiny rails. Wipe off any liquid that
gets onto the cabinet's paint work, to avoid the possibility of it getting
stained.
