Mr. Pinball Tip:

I have found over the years that some playfield circuits contained too many lamps for the rated fuse amperage. This occurred on "8 Ball Deluxe" and several early Stern solid state games. As a result, the fuse melted over time and often cooked the fuse holder as well. If you run across this problem on any game, use #47 in place of #44 (the #47 draws 0.15 amp vs. 0.25 amp for each #44.) For the wedge bulbs, use #259 in place of #555, as #259 also draws less current. In most cases these bulb options cost a little more, but solves the problem.
