Error Code 8 usually at System 7 MPUs should be CMOS memory problem, but I ran into the fact, that if you have a bad driverboard (especially one or more defective PIAs) you get an Error Code 8 on the Segment LED Display on Black Knight and Pharaoh pinball machines.
