Remember that most machines that have a service plug have electricity in the circuits even if the machine appears to be off.
As long as the machine is plugged into the wall outlet,it has current at some points in the machine. Even when no lights are on!!
The plug can be used to service the machine.Just be careful anytime your in a machine when it's plugged in
