Dates we were there:    7/11/99

    We arrived in Connecticut a day later than planned (see New Jersey).  We made only one stop on our way to Massachusetts to visit Ron & Jean.

Cities & Places we visited

    SHERWOOD ISLAND STATE PARK
    Arriving a day later that planned, we stopped at Sherwood Island State Park to play in the Atlantic Ocean, a big thing to a us who live in land-locked Utah.  Dad didn't feel like swimming so he just sat on the beach and took pictures.  Joseph swam quite a ways out.  Mom & Jordan got chased by a crab.  And as the tide started to go out, a sand bar appeared and Jordan and MaryLayne built a sand (mud) castle.  All in all we had a pretty good time, even though we couldn't stay as long as we wanted because we needed to get to Ron's in Massachusetts.
