Dates we were there:    7/10/99 

   We drove through Delaware on our way to New Jersey & New York from Washington D.C.  We stopped a for gas and to buy some post cards but the gas station did not have any.  We asked if there was anywhere we could get some and a man told us to drive into Old New Castle.

    NEW CASTLE
    We stopped in New Castle for gas and to buy some post cards and a man told us to drive into Old New Castle.  He even showed us the way!  It was worth the detour!  We found a quaint old New England town with cobblestone walks and historical places. 
    Unfortunately, we did not have a lot of time to visit them.  We stopped long enough to get post cards and a spoon for MaryLayne and headed on our way with some good memories of our short visit to Delaware.
