Mr. Pinball Tip:

Bad fuse holders don't grip the fuse tightly and cause premature fuse failure. You can check for a problem holder by turning the machine on and after a few minutes touch each end of each fuse with your finger. Caution--Don't touch anything else while doing this or you may get shocked! If the fuse is warm or even hot it indicates resistance in the connection between the fuse and the holder. The holder or fuse may just be dirty, or the holder clip may just need to be squeezed to hold the fuse tighter.

If the holder is just dirty, remove the fuse. Clean the fuse holder clips using a bulb socket cleaner stick. It's a tight fit, but works the best.
