Check your electromechanical's flipper bushings. These are a common reason for loose, weak, or floppy flippers. The flipper bushing is the white plastic piece attached to the underside of the playfield through which the flipper shaft rotates. It has been estimated that approximately 50% of all EM flipper bushings are broken. You can get extra-strong new flipper bushings from most suppliers. These stronger bushings have a flange (the usual broken part) that is 2mm thicker than the original.
