A playfield in otherwise excellent condition may start to "peel" in a
specific spot, especially near plastic inserts. Prevent the peeling
from spreading by covering the "wound" with a piece of Mylar just large
enough to completely cover the affected area. With the glass on, you
probably won't be able to detect it, and further deterioration will be
contained.
