If your Bally EM has no lights, and doesn't start, check the coin door slam
tilt. It is supposed to be normally closed. If it is open, or if a wire is
broken, then you will get this result, as if your machine is perpetually
slam-tilted.
If this isn't the problem check your fuses and your line cord. A surprising
number of repairs on all brands of pinballs are due to a broken plug or line
cord.
