Mr. Pinball Tip:

Restoring a game's cabinet may require repainting. To get as close a match to the original bright colors, look behind where the legs attach to the machine for unfaded paint. If a certain color is not to be found behind the legs, check for overspray inside the cabinet, or where the head attaches to the body. You may want to try cleaning with 409, or sanding away a little of a color to see if you can get a better sample.

Remove a few sample paint chips and take them to your paint dealer. A good dealer will be able to match these chips very well. Be aware that a new paint job on a cabinet in original colors will look almost too bright. However, this is how the machine looked when it was new.
