For those of you fixing a pin and find yourself about 500 miles from the
nearest replacement rubber--I have found that sewing the ends together with
a needle and stiff thread will repair broken rubber rings in emergency
situations. If possible position the stitches away from ball contact, such
as on the back side of a flipper. If it doesn't hold the first time, try
again. This is a temporary repair that should last a few days until you can
get replacements!
