Narrator - The next morning the company was formed for the quest. Celeste Rahmel, Calais Hellebore, Alf Romeo, Enzo Vittorio, Medero (Mouse) Anso, Silverhawk, and Sullivan were to begin the quest. With the announcement made, preparations were started to depart. Enzo's emaciated condition was a concern and he privately made know his desire to convalesce for a week in order to regain his strength. Not desiring to continue to linger in The Chalice the group agreed to camp north of Grimme Gate until he was fit to travel. After gathering supplies and distributing healing the party descended the mountain.

Feeling somewhat exposed outside Grimme Gate it was suggest that they camp in the second tower at Grimme Gate. Having made arrangement s with Commander Dunne whose company was assigned duty at the gate the party settled in for the night.
