Fun in the Hospital

Our weekend in the hospital with Sammy has been great. He's been learning to eat like a champ, but his true talent lies in sleeping. Yesterday he spent a lot of time awake and looking around. This morning since about 6 am he's been asleep almost non-stop. We have had to wake him up to eat a couple of times and he's been able to eat quite a bit while off in dreamland.

We had a great visit from our pediatritian. He's a great guy and gave Sammy two-thumbs up. The only thing we've found to fret over is that his nose is pretty congested but the doctor told us this is more than very common. We'll probably start worrying soon that he's sleeping too much.

It's been snowing pretty good since last night and I think we have 4 or 5 inches on the ground by now. A beautiful day for a beautiful new boy.
