We have a crawler!

Well, we thought we were going to have to enroll him in remedial crawling classes but on December 8, Sam

figured it out and is now moving around like a maniac. Just a few days ago we got a bit of it on video for you.

He knows when we're running the camera so we need to entice him with a little something. A cell phone usually does the trick.

He's also standing now and loves to move along the wall of the "playzone." We've clocked him at

less than 4 minutes from one end to the other.

After years of planning, we finally got some permanent gates installed in the living room doorways.

Sam thinks the railings are perfect for standing, and so far he doesn't seem to mind being a prisoner in the playzone!

Hope you enjoyed the pictures. You can see it's not hard to get this turkey to smile these days, and we're having loads of fun

with him now that he's mobile. I think he's a lot happier as well, not being stuck in one place.
