First off, sorry to all the fans out there who have been tuning in hourly for the latest update...we're just a little behind over here. Sammy has been keeping us busy with all of his crazy antics. What a nut!

Things are going very well. We've been keeping very busy with feedings 11 times a day and Eric trying to get back to work full time. (Still haven't managed an 8-hour day yet!) It was awesome having all the Whye's out to help us out with Sammy and various house projects (lots of new curtains and shelves are in the house!).

This past weekend, just as the Whyes were starting to think about heading back to Pennsylvania, my parents showed up as reinforcements. It was fun having everyone together for a couple of days (we had a killer game of Scattegories Sunday night).

Here are a couple of shots of my (my) Mom and Dad with Samson. This whole naming thing will throw me for a while. Grandma and Grandpa Jacobsen seems too formal, and Grandma and Grandpa J is taken. Just like Zoe did for Mema and Poppy, Sammy will eventually have to come up with nicknames for them, but for now we'll just have to stumble along as best as we can.

They kept calling me Dad and I didn't know who they were talking about. Surely not the dork in the white t-shirt?!

So we make them take turns.

Grandma does a good job at feeding time. Nik taught her the 'Silent Night' trick today.
