Wow, what a day! Once the historians have sorted out the facts, we'll get the full report up here, but suffice it to say, it was an amazing day. Nik and I both worked very hard and were very brave and made some tough decisions. But wow, what an ending. To see little Sammy for the first time was one of the most amazing sights of my life.
I'm still having a hard time realizing that Sammy is the same person as the little baby in the womb that we've been talking to and dreaming about for the past nine months.
I came home this morning around 5am after failing to get much rest in the silly reclining chair in Nik's room. I slept solidly until 11 this morning. Nik reports that she did not sleep a wink! Well, enjoy the pictures everyone, we'll get some more up soon! I'm off to see the two loves of my life.
