Music

I've been passionately listening to music since I was a kid and playing since I was 19. I still fall short of having the skill to play the music and arrangements I listen to or hear in my head, but even if I never get there I will continue playing for myself, family, and friends... whether we like it or not.

As with the rest of this site, it's a slow work in progress... on an "as time permits" or "as needed" basis. Over the years I've used this as a place to share invitations to jams and music with friends and bandmates. Occasionally I will link music files and I currently don't have a mechanism in place to prevent downloads. My intent is not to encourage illegal downloading of other folks' copyrighted work, but if you do find something here that inspires you I request that you consider buying the album. As an amateur musician I understand how much unpaid work goes into learning, practicing, composing, arranging, and producing these works. If we wish artists to continue to produce for us we owe it to them to pay for their efforts and show our gratitude by "voting" with our check books.
