Marshall Herbert Whitnah was born 24 Jul 1868 in Iron County, Missouri. On 22 Feb 1899 he married Edna May Sadler(1), daughter of George Henry Sadler and Justina Wilt. Together they lived for several years in Choctaw, Oklahoma County, Oklahoma. Sometime before 1914 they moved to Cedar Hill, Oneida, Idaho. They remaind in Idaho until their deaths. Marshall died at age 72, December 21, 1940 at 6:45 p.m.

After her husband's death, Edna married Hugh Allen. Edna passed away at age 82 in 1963. She was buried December 27, 1963 in Rupert Cemetary, Rupert, Idaho.

  1. Sherman Whitnah. Sherman was born 17 Jul 1900 in Choctaw, Oklahoma County, Oklahoma. On Jun 21, 1931 he married Esther Woodworth. Esther was born October 29, 1901 in Ohio. Sherman died in November of 1977. Esther passed away December 29, 1980 in Riverside, California. She was buried Jan 5, 1981 in Olivewood Cemetary.
  2. Harvey Marshall Whitnah. Harvey was born 29 Mar 1904 in Choctaw, Oklahoma County, Oklahoma. On Sep 29, 1934 he married Clarice Ann Harwood in Malad City, Idaho. Harvey and Clarice passed away together on May 26, 1989 in Baker, Baker County, Oregon. They were buried May 30, 1989 in the Eagle Valley Cemetary, Richland, Oregon.
  3. Lloyd William Whitnah. Lloyd was born 25 Sep 1906 in Choctaw, Oklahoma County, Oklahoma. He married Nora Donnely on Nov 13, 1929. He married second Velma Wood on Mar 5, 1945. He died May 3, 1968 in American Falls, Idaho and was buried May 6 in Fallsview Cemetary, American Falls.
  4. Ruby Justina Whitnah. Ruby was born 1 Aug 1914 in Cedar Hill, Oneida County, Idaho. On Sep 5, 1934 she married Everett Peterson.
  5. Alta Edna Whitnah. Edna was born 24 Sep 1916 in Cedar Hill, Oneida County, Idaho. On Dec 15, 1945 she married E.A. Gregory.
