Saturday, June 9, 2001 Valley of Fire, NV to Nephi, UT
As I mentioned before, the temperature was quite hot. By 9:30am we were packed up and ready to go. I wish we could have stayed longer and explored more with the girls, but it was just too hot.
My favorite campsite as a child -- It had the best climbing right behind it.
We left southern Nevada and headed north. We drove to Nephi and found a KOA just up the canyon. We felt that a campground with a pool and showers would be nice for our last night.
Alena and Ashlyn loved the water slide. (Someone's spelling is almost as bad as me :)
They also loved the playground
