Easy hiking around Stunning Mountains

Based out of Interlaken, we start early in the morning after a nice, hearty alpine breakfast. We hike through and explore different valleys along the many well-maintained hiking trails. We use modern trams, trains and bus transportation systems to gain altitude and to return from our destinations. Imagine having lunch out in the summer meadows, rich with mountain flowers, cowbells ringing in the distance while enjoying majestic mountain views. Maybe you will even see some local fauna like the Ibex, Chamois or Marmot.

You will sleep well in any of the quaint huts or mountain guest homes along the way or in family-owned hotels in the small mountain villages of Wengen, Gimmelwald, Rosenlaui, or Beatenberg. The possibilities are endless, and we are here to help you design your dream hiking trip. We will visit a cheese “factory” in a mountain chalet that still makes cheese like they did 100 years ago. This truly authentic Swiss adventure doesn’t take you to crowded tourist museums or areas. You will experience the culture, language, traditions and accommodations in a way that only a local “insider” like your guide can offer. It is unforgettable. All cultural events as well as the daily hikes will be customized just for you in accordance to your fitness, mood and the weather.

Berner Oberland hiking traverses from Lauterbrunnen to Leukerbad

Starting in the valley of Lauterbrunnen were all the waterfalls thunder don to the valley hiking in the spectacular set up of the wonders of he World Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau through deep glacier carved valleys over passes down to great Swiss Alpine huts. We stay of the glacier see them very closed a perfect family friends activity to stay away from the busy valleys and get some great exercise. The hiking is from 3-7 hours easy to moderate on good trails.

Grosse Kleine Scheidegg traverse 

Start in Stechelberg up to Eigergletscher via the Trümmelbach waterfalls over Alp meadows to Eigergletscher were we stay in the hostel and look at the mountains. From there under the Eiger north face to Grindelwald and up to Grosse Scheidegg down to the little hut the lat day to the Rosenlaui were we can hike up to the Rosenlauigletscher and finish in Meiringen.
