Welcome! For the past sixteen years I've worked as a river guide in the Grand Canyon, and I've run river trips in Alaska, Utah, Idaho, and Central America. As you might imagine, life on the river has taken me to spectacular wilderness areas. In the following web pages you can share the river experience in photos from the Alsek and Tatshenshini Rivers in Alaska and the Colorado River in Grand Canyon. If you're thinking of taking a river trip yourself, you'll find hints on choosing the perfect Grand Canyon river adventure, links to Grand Canyon and Alaska resources, and insider tips on packing for river trips. Finally, there's a photo gallery of river folks who've crossed my path through the years, and photos from off-river travel adventures.
