French Level 2 Unité 3: Leçon 1 Monsieur Charon Réunion 2! After nearly 14 hours on an airplane and an intense taxi ride during rush hour in Paris, I finally arrived at the hotel around midnight. I got up this morning around 6 am and had a quick shower and shave and got dressed. I am now heading down to the lobby to see Luc and Victoire. As you have seen, our hotel as one little tiny elevator which is called an "ascenseur" pronounced ah-sah-soeur (like the French word for "sister"). L'ascenseur est très petit! Mais, ça marche bien! J'espère! When we get to the lobby we are going to have a quick French breakfast before going sightseeing. Breakfast is the only chance that we will have to visit this morning because each of us are taking you to different places. The door opens and I come out of the tiny elevator (that worked just fine, WHEW!) to see Luc et Victoire! Track 13 MC: Luc! Victoire! Bonjour! L: Bonjour Monsieur! V: Bonjour Monsieur! MC: Comment allez-vous? L: Moi, je vais très bien! V: Je vais très bien aussi. Merci! Et vous? MC: Pas mal. Un peu fatigué. (Lit: A little tired) L: Qu'est-ce que vous désirez manger? MC: Qu'est-ce qu'il y a? (Lit: What is there?) L: Je ne sais pas. Allons voir! (Lit: I don't know. Let's go see!) Enough talk. Let's check out the food!
