Services
The UILC is a non-residential facility that provides services which enhance the independence of people with disabilities.
Staff members, some of whom have a disability, play an important role in the delivery of independent living services which include four core services of:
- Peer Support
- Information and Referral
- Independent Living Skills Training
- Advocacy
We provide these services both at the individual and community levels. All services are demand driven.
Eligibility
A person must have a physical or mental disability which impairs activities of daily living and a reasonable expectation must exist that UILC's services will increase independence.
If you are interested in receiving our services, please contact us to set up an appointment for an intake.
