Visit Peru II - more photographs from peruvian Andes - taken in May/June of 2013.
Photographs on this page are from Peruvian Andes - from May 2012. I hiked with my husband for 11 days the entire Cordillera Huyahuash Circuit, 160 km long. The whole trek was at the altitude from 15,500 to 16,500 feet. The highest point we've reached was 16,568 feet. (5,050 m) It was an amazing experience. They are the most beautiful mountains I have seen in my life. Our adventure was unforgettable! We experianced all possible weather as we were trekking in this beautiful mountains accompanied by the Colonia Climb Expedition based in Huaraz, Peru.
I tried to include on this page all varieties of lanscape that I found impressive and diverse. The mountains impressed me the most. Being there was very emotional and touching. I had a few nice sunsets and sunrises, but some days were very rainy and snowy, we could not even see the mountain peaks. It was great to experience it all. Trekking in Cordillera Huayhuash was physiclly challenging, but mentally very refreshing. I know for sure that I will return to those mountains. I am already excited for another mountain and photographing experience in Peru.
Thank you for visiting my website. Hope you will enjoy my photographs from Peru.
