How To Become A Ham
One of the first steps toward getting a license is to obtain the book Ham Radio License Manual published by the American Radio Relay League (ARRL). It tells all about amateur radio and contains all the information necessary to get a first license. One source of the book is the club's “book lady,” Brett Sutherland, who is available at meetings and can be contacted by phone.
